Reflexology is a pressure-based therapy applied mainly to the feet, and sometimes the hands and ears. Practitioners work specific points that are mapped to organs and systems of the body.
The therapist uses thumb-and-finger pressure on reflex points, aiming to encourage relaxation and a sense of balance. Sessions are done fully clothed, with only shoes and socks removed.
Firm but comfortable pressure on the feet. Many people feel deeply relaxed, and some feel tired or thirsty afterwards β drinking water helps.
Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes. A first visit usually starts with a short chat about your health and what you want from the session.
