Nail services are priced per service rather than per hour. Gel, acrylic and SNS cost more than a basic manicure, and nail art or long extensions add to the total.
Nail treatments are not eligible for health-fund rebates.
Gel is a flexible resin cured under UV/LED light; acrylic is a stronger powder-and-liquid system often used for extensions; SNS is a dipping powder between the two. Ask which suits your nails and lifestyle.
Keep cuticles moisturised, wear gloves for washing up and avoid using your nails as tools. For gel or acrylic, book infills every two to three weeks to prevent lifting.
